This c. 1920 carpet attributed to Mohajeran village in the Sarouk/Sultanabad/Arak area, shows a deep indigo field with various flower sprays and side palmettes, in shades of teal, straw cream and red. Mulberry red border with two palmette types in reversing posture. Well-woven with a dense and heavy handle. Good condition.
