This well-woven Kurdish town scatter shows a radiating 16-palmette and leaf flowerhead pattern on a rich navy ground. Field corner diagonal vases. Wine red border of rosette sprays and upright whole flowers. Compact construction with short, but incredibly firm pile. Good condition. Probably c. 1925. The transition from wool to cotton warps on Bidjars began c. 1920.
