Not SE Persian Afshar, but attractive SW Persian tribal scatter either Qashghai or neighboring Khamseh work with a minutely stepped, Vee-notched navy subfield centred by an ivory volute knot within a red stepped medallion. A plethora of small, geometric devices fills the panel including rosettes, color sampler lozenges, flowers and tridents. Similar volute knots adorn the red field corners. Skinny narrow borders including a royal blue main with a lozenge pattern. Good tribal weave. Good condition, but definitely not an Afshar.
