Trumpet Bugler is a commanding 1.70-meter (5.6-foot) tall sculpture, crafted in 5mm (0.2-inch) thick metal, capturing the dynamic form of a figure sounding a trumpet.
Edition 8 of 8, this piece blends musical energy with sculptural elegance in a bold, vertical presence.
Antonine de Saint Pierre was born in 1974 in the Paris region, where she still lives and works. Deeply influenced by the sculptors of the 1950s and 60s, their legacy continues to inspire her large-scale steel creations.
Originally crafted for her own home, Antonine’s sculptures and bas-reliefs soon caught the attention of gallerists and antique dealers, who encouraged her to create more works for exhibition.
Through this process, the artist found her voice—developing an elegant style that reimagines femininity and asserts a distinctive sculptural language in cut metal. Over time, she gradually moved away from the direct influence of her early inspirations to embrace her own artistic identity.
